Polyclonals can be used for Western blot, immunohistochemistry on frozen slices or parrafin fixed tissues. The advantage is that there are more epitopes available in a polyclonal antiserum to detect the proteins than in monoclonal sera.
PRDX1; peroxiredoxin 1; MSP23; NKEFA; PAG; PAGA; PAGB; PRX1; PRXI; TDPX2; natural killer-enhancing factor A; proliferation-associated gene A; thioredoxin-dependent peroxide reductase 2
Expected reactivity based on sequence homology: Human, Mouse, Rat, Dog, Pig, Cow. Reported variants represent identical protein (NP_002565.1, NP_859047.1, NP_859048.1).
Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
